studio kosnik is a design company that focuses on furniture design. The creative force behind it, Karol Kosnik, is a graduate of the furniture design program from Sheridan College. studio kosnik designs, builds and prototypes furniture, in all its aspects, ranging from conceptual studio pieces to mass producible units. Within that diversity the focus remains on functionality and aesthetics with elements of craft. Sustainability and responsible furniture design are an integral part of studio kosnik's design philosophy. Karol Kosnik maintains an online presence in the pages of 'wood blog' and 'the buckskin baby review', a magazine devoted to all things furniture and design, including furniture technology, philosophy and satire.
